DIY BB Cream

Here is a way to make a personalized BB Cream that does exactly what YOU want it to do. Need one that is better for oily skin? Dry skin? Want more coverage? Go for it… it’s up to you. : )

I went a little crazy with the products I mixed… mostly because I had some samples that I wanted to use up. : ) You can use whatever you’d like, of course.

Just keep the ratio: 1/3 foundation, 1/3 moisturizer, 1/6 primer, and 1/6 sunscreen. (I used 2 tsp. foundation, 2 tsp. moisturizer, 1 tsp. sunscreen, and 1 tsp. primer.)

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer (in medium), Wet n Wild Coverall Cream Foundation (in fair), and Urban Decay Naked Skin sample pack (in various shades).

This turned into an experiment… I originally wanted to only use the UD Naked sample as my color, but I didn’t have enough. I then added in the concealer, and overall it was a little too dark, so next came the Coverall. Haha… believe it or not, but the final product does match my skin!

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock SPF 70 (Yeah… a little excessive, but I got this as a free sample. Normally I’d go for SPF 15-30), Mary Kay Hydrating Gel , and Dermalogica Active Moist

I didn’t intend to use two different moisturizers, but I ran out of the dermalogica, so I added the Mary Kay too. I ended up finishing off both of them. (Yay.)

Smashbox Photo Finish Dark Spot Corrector Primer and Tarte Clean Slate Poreless Primer

Since I added the concealer, my version of “BB Cream” actually has a good amount of coverage.
